I’m a global executive and leader with more than 15 years’ experience advising political leaders, ministers and governments. My work brings together three core strengths: strategy, policy and communications.
I help leaders turn their priorities into a clear direction, a practical agenda and a message people understand. My experience spans senior roles in Australian government and opposition, international government advisory at Consulum in Dubai, and an earlier career in journalism.
Leadership means connecting the decisions an organisation makes with the commitments it gives. I bring a clear sense of purpose, sound judgement under pressure and a focus on getting people working towards the same goal.
02 Experience
Leading the Opposition Leader’s communications, connecting policy priorities with media strategy, public messaging and the daily demands of national leadership.
Worked in international government advisory helping ministers and governments in the Middle East and Africa develop strategy, policy and communications.
Led media and communications for four federal budgets and Australia’s economic response to COVID-19. Work included the News Media Bargaining Code and explaining major economic decisions to the public.
Led on media and communications across the energy and environment portfolios, helping explain policy priorities and government decisions.
Senior roles across trade and small business. Developed economic media and communications strategy across five election campaigns.
Began in Australian print and television journalism, building a direct understanding of newsrooms, public scrutiny and how stories reach an audience.

05 Beyond work
Away from politics, I’m a dad, a cricketer, a Geelong supporter and a regular on the sidelines of junior sport. I’m also a car enthusiast and a fan of F1 and horse racing. Family time, a good coffee and a drive out of town help keep things in perspective.
